Chandel, February 29 2024: The 3-day photo exhibition on '9 years of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan' held at SS Mohring Memorial Multi Purpose Hall in Mantripantha, Chandel district concluded today.

The photo exhibition was organised as a part of the integrated communication and outreach program by the Central Bureau of Communication, Field Office (CBC, FO) Chandel under the aegis of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

The valedictory function was graced by St Joseph High School Chandel Headmaster Alfred Thumlhiti Monsang; Mantripantha Village Chief SS Bemong; Assistant Chief Kh Siyen and Khungpham Junior School AssistantTeacher SS Levis as the presidium members and resource persons.

Speaking in connection with the photo exhibition, CBC, FO Chandel FPA, Mathew Sk Bengam said that the exhibition has been organised in line with the completion of 9 years of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan and to showcase the various activities taken up by the Government during these years with the aim to raise awareness among the young students about these welfare activities.

Notably, during the 3-day event, dramas and cultural programmes were performed to sensitize the people about the numerous Government's welfare initiatives and quiz competitions for students were also held.

Later a public rally was carried out to raise awareness among the public regarding the 9 years of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan.
