Imphal, February 26 2013: The Indian army now stand exposed that they have been smuggling and supplying drugs in Manipur with a sinister design to exterminate the Manipuri nation, the proscribed RPF alleged in a press statement issued by its Publicity Secretary Roben Khuman.

The recent seizure of a huge consignment of drugs from a group of smugglers led by PIB-DW PRO Col Ajay Chowdhury also revealed that the Indian military officers have been supplying intoxicating drugs not only to Manipur but also neighbouring Myanmar, Now, the State's ruling political class and the Indian military can no longer deny their involvement in smuggling into and through Manipur, it alleged.

The seizure of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride tablets worth around Rs 20 crores on the way to Moreh indicated that the Indian military has been scheming to get the people of Manipur as well as Myanmarese people addicted to drugs.

This is against the UN resolution against illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

In addition to dealing in drugs, the Indian military in cahoot with some former revolutionaries who have surrendered to them have been earning money by sending demand letters and kidnapping people.

This was evident enough when some cadres of MDF escorted by 11 personnel of 42nd Assam Rifles who came to deliver a demand letter to the RIMS Director were apprehended by Manipur Police as published in local media on February 23 .

Such activities of the Indian military have created a restless, insecure and chaotic situation in Manipur.

Such unethical practices of the Indian military is not confined in Manipur alone.

When the Indian army was sent to Congo as a part of UN peace keeping force, the Indian military personnel, rather than doing their duty, started smuggling gold after exchanging bullets with gold from the Congolese rebels.

When this matter came to the light of the UN Peace Keeping authority, many top brass of the Indian army were summoned to court, the outfit asserted.

In remarkable shift from its earlier practices of committing all kinds of atrocities against innocent civilians, the Indian army has now put on a mask of philanthropic force taking some Meira Paibis to Hindu pilgrimage sites of India, distributing a few sewing machines to some girls, TV/radio to some clubs, distributing some sports materials etc.

At the same time, they have been dealing in drugs with a sinister to demoralise and incapacitate all the youth of Manipur, it alleged.

In short, all the criminal activities, murders, murdering children after confiscating gold ear-rings, homicide, the issue of HIV, all have their roots in the drugs brought in by the Indian military.

To put an end to all these evil policies and practices, there is no other means except driving out all the foreign forces from the soil of Manipur which in another words means liberation of Manipur, it alleged.

The outfit also called upon all the people of Manipur to join the liberation movement and drive out all the Indian military forces from the soil of Manipur.
