Imphal, July 26 2015:
All Manipur College Teachers' Association (AMCTA) has urged the Government to open the educational institutes of Imphal area at the earliest.

It added that the association in an emergency meeting held today strongly condemned police action that killed Sapam Robinhood.
In the meeting, the association also resolved to demand the Government to punish the police personnel responsible for Robinhood's death.
On the other hand, AMCTA also urged the Government to translate the demands agreed with the association into action at the earliest.
It further informed that the association would suspend its movement programme for some time due to the present volatile situation.
