AR organises medical camp in Chandel

Imphal, October 19 2024:
Assam Rifles organised a medical camp at Joupi Aided Pre-Primary School in Chandel district on October 18, 2024 to provide essential healthcare services to those in remote areas with limited access to medical facilities.
A dedicated medical team of 23 members, including six specialist doctors in fields like obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics, ENT, sonology, and two medical officers for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) and Ayush (for immunization) participated in the camp.
Assam Rifles also used the expertise of nursing assistants to ensure the smooth execution of the medical camp, which benefitted a total of 276 beneficiaries, including 117 women and 123 children, said an IGAR (S) press release.
