Liquor shops raided in CCpur

CCpur, January 24 2025: Under the guidance and supervision of the additional SP (Law & Order), SDPOs, and other subordinate police officials, the district police conducted raids on liquor shops at various locations in Churachandpur town on Friday.

The liquor drive was carried out in response to the frequent incidents of road accidents, drunken brawls, and as part of the Road Safety Month and Republic Day celebrations.

During the drive, various brands of IMFL, beer and DLS (locally brewed wine) worth Rs 1,39,490 were seized.

The seized liquor items were disposed of at the premises of Churachandpur police station in the presence of media persons.
