Army conducts medical camp in Leimakhong

Imphal, October 19 2024:
Indian Army on Saturday held a medical camp at Hengjang village, Leimakhong, offering essential healthcare services and dental checkups, including minor surgeries.
415 residents, comprising 180 women, 143 children and 92 elderly individuals, attended the camp and received health checkups, consultations, treatments and medicines from a dedicated team of Army doctors.
Deputy GOC, Red Shield Division visited the medical camp and interacted with the local community.
To further support the villagers, healthcare aids such as blood pressure monitors, glucometers, walking sticks along with physiotherapy equipment were provided to the Leimakhong sub-centre, said a press release from the Ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland & Southern Arunachal Pradesh.
