Imphal, August 01 2024: With an objective to foster community bonds and as a precursor to the upcoming Independence Day celebration, Indian army organised a day with Company Commander themed "Symbol of Unity and Friendship" for residents of Phougakchao Ikhai, Bishnupur on Thursday.

In a release, PRO Defence informed that the event was attended by over 100 individuals of various age groups.

The activities were designed to engage the community in fun and interactive manner, promoting a spirit of togetherness, featuring a variety of recreational activities.

Ladies and children showcased their artistic talent in drawing and painting session themed around the Independence Day, filling the atmosphere with creativity and patriotic fervour, it continued, while adding that such activities provided entertainment and also served as a platform for the community to express their love for the nation.
