BSF, CRPF aid villagers under CAP

Imphal, January 24 2025: Under the aegis of Sector Headquarters BSF CI (Operations), 29 Bn BSF organised a civic action programme (CAP) at CI Post Maphou East during which HDPE pipe, solar street light with pole, ceiling fan, water storage tanks and sports items like carom board, volleyball, football, nets, etc., were distributed to the villagers.

The programme had the presence of Battalion commandant ND Mao.

village chiefs, and representatives of Tumukhong, Thangjingpokpi, Louphong, Chadong, and Nongdam Tangkhul villages.

Interacting with the attendees, commandant ND Mao encouraged them to foster a healthy and peaceful environment.

He reiterated BSF's commitment to reach out to those in need and assured the community of continued support whenever required.

Meanwhile, under the aegis of Imphal-based CRPF Manipur & Nagaland Sector, Dett/30 Battalion CRPF S Saheibung organised a civic action programme at Hengjol village under New Keithel manbi police station, Kangpokpi district on Thursday.

During the event, items such as water storage tanks (Sintex), woollen blankets, rechargeable solar LED lights and rechargeable LED torchlights were distributed to the people of Hengjol village.

The programme was attended by Hengjol village chief Tonghen Haokip, 30 Battalion commandant Virendra Kumar, second-in-command Mahendra Singh, and assistant commandants Sunil Kumar Tomar and Subodh Kumar among others.
