LBCA denounces Konsakhul incident

Imphal, April 13 2025: The Liangmai Baptist Churches Association Manipur has strongly denounced the physical assault of its president and Pastor Ab Willingson and other villagers including the chief and the chairman of Konsakhul village and the vandalism of their properties on April 5, 2025 allegedly by Kuki militants at Konsakhul village.

Meanwhile, Liangmai Baptist Churches Association in a separate release stated that when all-out efforts are being given to restore much needed peace and normalcy in the State for peaceful co-existence of all communities with mutual respect and love, the brutality meted out against innocent public, and not even sparing church Pastor is unacceptable and is highly despicable.

Urging the perpetrators to detest violence and follow the path of love and peace, the Association appeals to all concerned groups or parties to not repeat such sinful acts of touching God's servant in the future.
