Youth Exchange Programme begins

Thoubal, January 07 2025: A three-day Inter District Youth Exchange Programme organised by District Youth Affairs and Sports Officer, Thoubal commenced on Tuesday at Khongjom Mega Tourist Centre Guest House.

The inaugural function was attended by Thoubal DC Ahanthem Subhash and Youth Affairs and Sports director T Phulen Meitei as chief guest and president respectively while DFA, Thoubal vice-president and SAI retired assistant director Konsam Michael Singh, Thoubal Olympic Association president M Mani Singh and Thoubal police station OC Th Phulachan were the guests of honour.

The event, which was attended by youths from Thoubal and Chandel districts, featured a variety of cultural performances.

In his speech, DC Subhash expressed that such inter-district exchange programmes offer numerous benefits to participants and advised them to take full advantage of the opportunity.

These programmes also help in clearing misunderstandings among people from different districts and aid the youth in becoming self-reliant.
