Awareness programme on Dengue held

Imphal, July 28 2024: A day-long community awareness programme on Dengue was organised on Sunday at the Brahmapur Bheigyabati Leikai residence of Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Th Satyabrata in collaboration the National Health Mission Manipur, and State Malaria Officer NVBDCP.

In his speech, Speaker Th Satyabrata informed that the awareness programme has been conducted considering the number of people affected by Dengue in the last couple of years in Yaiskul assembly constituency.

There is also the need to organise awareness programmes on Dengue in different parts of the state, he stressed.

As resource persons of the programme state malaria officer Dr Priyokumar and IEC consultant N Gopakeshwor elaborated on symptoms, spread and treatment of Dengue.
