Imphal-Tezu air route launched

Imphal, October 19 2024:
Alliance Air has launched a new route connecting Imphal with Tezu Airport in Arunachal Pradesh under the RCS UDAN Scheme on Friday.
A statement issued by Imphal International Airport director Chipemmi Keishing informed that the inaugural flight was attended by the Lok Sabha member and Aerodrome Advisory Committee chairman Angomcha Bimol Akoijam along with airport director, AD BCAS, CASO, and station managers of all airlines.
Alliance Air will be operating the route with an ATR 72 aircraft, providing service between Tezu and Imphal and the flights will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Arrival at Imphal from Tezu is scheduled for 1400 Hrs, with departure back to Tezu at 1425 Hrs.
The new route is a significant addition to regional connectivity, enhancing accessibility between the two locations, the statement added.
