Imphal, November 16 2024: The Like-Minded Group (LMG) Manipur has strongly condemned the heinous killing of three women and three children who were abducted by Kuki militants from Jakuradhor in Jiribam district.

A press note issued by Rakesh Naorem, publicity secretary, LMG Manipur, has also termed the incident as an act of terrorism and shared in the grief of the bereaved families.

As both the State and the Central Government have failed to protect the lives and properties of the people and resolve the conflict that has besieged Manipur for more than 18 months, the LMG press note raised suspicion if there is an agenda afoot to annihilate Meiteis from the land.

It added that the Manipur Government and Indian State should swiftly resolve the Manipur crisis and save precious lives.
