Imphal, July 12 2025: A one-day career guidance cum awareness programme was organised by Poumai Naga Tsiidoumai Me, Imphal (PNTMI), under the leadership of its president D Rokhu and his executive team, at Savio Hall, Mary Immaculate Parish, Chingmeirong, on Saturday.

The function was attended by Senapati assistant commissioner M Sheveine, DSP (Jail) Y Benison Pou, Delhi School of Music assistant professor KT Ruth, ISTV Network English News desk editor Soyophy Zingkhai Awuh, and High Court advocate RS Livingstone, as panel speakers.

Career guidance / awareness programme held

The event drew participation from students of various schools and colleges, civil service aspirants and other young individuals seeking career guidance.

The primary objective of the event was to create awareness among emerging students about the wide range of career options available after completing Class XII, graduate or postgraduate studies.

The speakers delivered insightful talks on career preparation for civil services, the scope of music as a profession, the role and impact of journalism, and legal careers.

Each speaker shed light on their respective fields, offering valuable guidance, personal experiences and encouragement to the gathering.
