AR joins local festivities at Heirok, Pangaltabi

Imphal, April 29 2025: Assam Rifles extended support in the celebrations of Ching-Tam Sajibu Cheiraoba Khudol Tamba held at Heirok Part II in Thoubal district and Ibudhou Lokningthou at Pangaltabi in Kakching district on April 26 and 28 respectively.

According to PRO IGAR (S), on April 28, essential items were distributed for the celebrations of Ibudhou Lokningthou, benefitting around 250 devotees participating in the event.

Earlier, on April 26, Assam Rifles provided refreshments and potable water during the celebration of Sajibu Cheiraoba Khudol Tamba at Heirok Part II.

The initiative supported approximately 800 people from Heirok and adjoining villages, ensuring the successful conduct of the traditional festival, said the PRO .
