FESOK rues condition of Yairipok Yambem HS

Imphal, July 28 2024: Federal Students' Organisation, Kangleipak (FESOK) has urged the government to address shortcomings in Yairipok Yambem High School (Aided) .

In a release, FESOK education & library secretary Y Sumanta Luwang informed that as part of its survey, a team visited Yairipok Yambem High School (Aided) on July 26 and found it lacking in many areas.

The school has nine teachers including headmaster Chingakham Chinglen Singh and 152 students.

Out of the nine teachers only three are approved with one already retired, it added.

FESOK appealed to-the authority concerned to approve three more teachers for the school as it has become cumbersome for the teachers present to run the school and to ensure basic infrastructure, especially separate toilet for girl students.
