Idle Govt employees need training: Preshow

"Government employees including doctors and teachers require adequate training to remove idleness in serving at remote posting places" .
This was stated by MK Preshow Shimray, Deputy Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly while speaking at the 55th Workers' Education Day organised by Central Board for Workers' Education, Regional Directorate, Government of India at Palace compound here today.
During the programme held under the theme 'Innovative Actions and Perspective of Workers' Education', Preshow Shimray, who is also MLA of Chingai Assembly Constituency, emphasized that the Workers Education day being observed all over the country aims at educating the workers with knowledge in various fields.
In addition to observing the Day, we need to put up various grievances of the workers to the government so as to remove the hardships faced by them, added Shimray.
Maintaining that Look East Policy has been devised to improve relations between India and South East Asian Countries, the Deputy Speaker stressed that the workers have to take the opportunities out of the policy.
While citing the increasing problem of drugs in the state, Shimray appealed to the workers to develop work culture among them to bring about a prosperous society.
The government employees including teachers and doctors are often reluctant to serve at remote hill and valley areas, said Shimray while adding that they should be provided adequate training to remove the idleness.
