11 UNC members to take part in talk

Senapati, October 05 2017:
The United Naga Council (UNC) is all prepared for the tripartite talks on district creation issue on Friday.
According to sources, an 11-member delegation of UNC will participate in the talks .
As part of their preparations for the event, UNC leaders had a “very serious” discussion in its office at Senapati today convened by UNC president Gaidon Kamei, according to UNC sources.
It was not known what transpired in the discussion .
As usual, Satyendra Garg, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), in-charge of North East, will chair the talks .
From the State Government of side, three Cabinet Ministers-Agriculture & Veterinary Minister V.Hangkhanlian, Tribal Affairs and Hills Minister N Kayisii and Education and Labour and Employment Minister Th Radheshyam-will lead the delegation.
Additional Chief Secretary (Home) of Manipur Dr J Suresh Babu and Commissioner (Works & IPR) K Radhakumar Singh will also be part of the State Government delegation, the sources added.
