NPF Mon Division slams Naiba Konyak

Kohima , October 05 2017: The Youth wing and Women Wing of the Naga People's Fronts, Mon, have slammed the the statement of Naiba Konyak, Advisor, Nagaland State Lottery, saying it was an insult to the Mon Division NPF.

A press release issued by NPF Mon Division Youth Wing Khongwang and Women Wing President Minching stated that Naiba Konyak was already an expelled member of the NPF party and that he cannot claim to be an NPF legislator since he is a party-less representative.

The signatories said Naiba "sold" his Assembly Constituency "for his personal gain" when he offered it to Dr Shurhozelie to contest in a bye election to become a member of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.

They went on to state that Naiba's offer to Dr Shurhozelie Liezietsu was the root cause of the present crisis in the NPF "and now he tarnished the image and unity of NPF in particular and Konyak community in general by defending his corrupted colleague (with) false allegation" .

"Anyone who stands against NPF and defend NPF opponent is a political Gigolo only for money." The press release stated.

The press release also termed the statement of Pujok and N Longshah (which appeared in a section of the local papers this morning) as "nothing but a desperate move only for their own survival by claiming themselves as NPF Presidents with no political principles and ideology and misled the people in the media" .
