Imphal, June 01 2025: Like many other places of Imphal and greater Imphal areas, Raj Bhavan too has been flooded.

Considering the possibility of the flood situation turning grim in view of the continuing rainfall, efforts were made to drain out the flood waters toward the road running by GP Women's College.

On account of the water drainage work, vehicles coming from Keishampat side were blocked at Keishampat bridge.

Using loudspeakers, Traffic police personnel deployed at Keishampat traffic point announced that the road leading to Raj Bhavan from Keishampat has been closed.

This created a lot of inconveniences to the public.

Notably, Raj Bhavan faced deluge during last year's flood too.
