Kakching, November 12 2024: A one-day training programme for farmers was organised by Horticulture and Soil Conservation (H&SC) Department, Thoubal district at Ima Nungthong Lairembi relief camp in Kakching, on Tuesday.

The training conducted under the aegis of Manipur Organic Mission Agency, Phase-IV Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region, was attended by Waikhong SDO T Millikan and H&SC, Thoubal officer Kh Malem Nganba Meitei as chief guest and president respectively while Relief Camp, Serou nodal officer Y Chandrabodol and Serou GP chairperson Ksh Gourababu were the guests of honour.

KVK, Thoubal subject matter specialist Boris Longjam and MOMA assistant project officer Ngangom Bishal were present as resource persons of the training programme organised with the main objective of enhancing yield of agriculture and horticulture produces by members of Farmers Producer Company (FPC) of MOA and IDPs staying at the Ima Nungthong Lairernbi relief camp.

Around 50 farmers attended the training programme.
