AR remembers brave hearts at Maram

Senapati, July 11 2022: Maram Battalion of Jwalamukhi Sector under IGAR (East) organised wreath laying ceremony on Monday to commemorate the death anniversary of Rifleman Bhim Sain, Sena Medal (P) and Sub Keher Singh, Shaurya Chakra (P) of 33 Assam Rifles who laid down their lives in line of duty on July 10, 2002 and July 11, 2003 respectively.

The event marked the presence of all ranks of 33 Assam Rifles and their families who paid homage to the bravehearts of the battalion at Maram and remembered their sacrifices.

Commandant of 33 Assam Rifles interacted with the families of the martyrs over video call and saluted their spirit and courage.

He also assured them of any assistance required at any point of time from the battalion and that they will always remain part of 33 Assam Rifles.

The wreath laying ceremony was followed by heart touching performance of 33 Assam Rifles musical band.
