YVO felicitates meritorious students

Imphal, June 01 2025: Yaiskul Volunteers' Organisation (YVO) on Sunday felicitated students who passed the recent Class 10 and 12 examinations conducted by BSEM, COHSEM and CBSE with flying colours.

An award distribution function was held at MDU Hall, Yaiskul Police Lane, with Justice Aribam Guneshwar Sharma of the High Court of Manipur as chief guest, YVO president Sorokhaibam Saratchandra as functional president, and DM College of Commerce principal Prof Khumanthem Rajen and Peace Museum, Manipur director Haobam Joyremba as the guests of honour.

Addressing the event, Justice Aribam Guneshwar said there is no such thing as a good or bad subject.

He advised students to choose subjects that align with their knowledge, passion and aptitude to guide them towards a better future.

He also urged YVO to organise other activities such as debates and sports competitions.

Prof Rajen encouraged students to use smartphones as tools for gaining new knowledge and called on YVO and other local organisations to take the lead in nurturing students to become accomplished individuals.
