Imphal, November 07 2024: Lions Club of Imphal Excellence, in collaboration with Lions Club International District 322D and ACME Fertility & Health care Centre, conducted a free diabetes and anaemia screening cum awareness camp at ACME Fertility & Healthcare Centre, under the leadership of club president Sapam Anand, on Thursday.

In his address, Anand informed that camp was conducted to raise public awareness about diabetes and anaemia, and encourage regular check-ups and proactive health management.

He then underscored the need for early detection in combating the growing prevalence of these conditions in Manipur.

The campaign was attended by over 150 persons.

Medical professionals and volunteers provided screenings and shared guidance on prevention and management.

Meanwhile, the organisers expressed elation over healthy response to the camp and assure dedicated service in the near future as well to enhance public wellness.
