Candidates demand clarity on MTS job test

The JAC Education (S) Written Test Completed 2016-18 Batch candidates on Sunday staged a sit-in protest at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai community hall demanding that the government take a decision during the upcoming session of the Assembly on July 31 for declaration of results of the written test.
Speaking on the sidelines, one of the protesting candidates recounted that the JAC had been urging the Education (S) Department to declare the written test results but to no avail till date, amounting to ignoring plight of around 26,000 candidates.
In this regard, the candidates had stormed the CM's Bungalow, met the Education minister and other authorities concerned.
However, the JAC has been unable to meet the chief minister despite getting ah appointment for the same.
Frustrated with the government's lackadaisical attitude, the candidates staged the sit-in protest, the candidate said, while cautioning of launching agitations if no decision to declare the results is taken during the upcoming session of Manipur Legislative Assembly on July 31 .
