Unite all Liangmai Nagas under one administrative unit: LNCM

Imphal, September 21 2024: Liangmai Naga Council Manipur vice president Ch Wisohou has urged for uniting all Liangmai Naga communities in five different assembly constituencies under one administrative unit.

In a press meet held at the Tangjing Hall of Manipur Press Club, here, on Satur day, Ch Wisobou said that after Nongthombam Biren became the CM, he has taken up many initiatives for the welfare of Laingmai Naga communities, which is appreciated.

He further lauded the numerous projects and development works taken up in Liangmai-inhabited areas.

He then urged for united all Liangmai Naga groups under one administrative unit when the delimitation exercises for Kangpokpi, Tadubi, Tamenglong, Tamei and Saikul constituencies are carried out, while further urging the government to solve the conflict and restore peace in the state as soon as possible.
