HAI stakeholders' consultation held

Imphal, September 17 2024: Himalayan Agroecology Initiative (HAI), Meghalaya state level stakeholders' consultation was conducted at the CPGS-AS, Umiam, Meghalaya on Tuesday.

The programme was attended by vice chancellor Dr Anupam Mishra as a chief guest with the participation of national consultant Dr Malavika Dadani, Meghalaya Horticulture Department director D Sohtan, Agriculture director Dr JC Lyngdo, Alliance Biodiversity and CIAT country consultant Dr Jai C Rana, senior consultant and former ICAR NEH region director Dr SV Ngachan, CPGSAS dean and COA Krydemkulai dean, faculty members and students.

Dr Ngachan delivered the welcome address, providing an overview of the pro gramme which was followed by speeches from Dr Malavika Dadani, D Sohtan, Dr JC Lyngdo and Dr Jai C Rana on the Himalayan Agroecology, climate and sustainability.

Later, VC Dr Anupam Mishra addressed all the dignitaries, staffers and students on the stakeholder's consultations.

The programmer concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by CPGS-AS dean Dr Dwipendra Thakuria.
