Imphal, November 16 2024: Lions Club of Imphal in association with Tiddim Road Athletic Union (TRAU) organised a Diabetes Detection cum Awareness Camp as part of "One Multiple One Activity of Lions International MD 322" at the office of TRAU, Kwakeithel Bazar.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr A Meina Singh said that diabetes is one of the 8 trust projects of Lions International.

"The number of diabetes patient is increasing at an alarming rate.

Keeping this in view, there are 3 main objectives of the camp.

The objectives are- to give awareness on how to prevent diabetes, detection of diabetes and treatment", he added.

Renowned singer K Bobin and O Ranjit, president of Lions Club of Imphal were also present at the camp.

As part of the camp, a diabetes awareness pamphlet was also released.
