PHED distributes potable water to flood-affected people

Imphal, June 01 2025: The Public Health and Engineering Department (PHED) on Sunday distributed packaged water, alum, bleaching powder, lime and water for normal use to flood affected people.

According to a notice issued by the Department, the step was taken up in collaboration with the district administration, local and town committees to assist people in flood affected areas and those staying in relief camps so as to present safe water shortage.

For emergency cases or those in need of water, one can contact Imphal West - Rural (8132082171/7005250132), Imphal West-Urban (9790839583), Imphal East-Urban (8794628708) arid Imphal East-Rural (8730928472/7348993191) offices of the Department, the notice informed.
