KAKCHING:, September 21 2024: Under the joint aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) and National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), a one day 'Legal awareness cum interactive programme' was conducted by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Chandel at relief camps in Tengnoupal district on Saturday.

The programme was attended by DLSA Chandel secretary Masana E Panmei as chief guest and Moreh Judicial Magistrate Fakhrul Islam Choudhury as president while DLSA Chandel retainer lawyer Jacky Lucy was resource person.

The programme focused on providing legal awareness and sensitisation on free legal aid and assistance under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 to the internally displaced persons presently housed in relief camps of the district.
