Imphal, November 15 2024: The 2nd State-Level Seminar on "Swami VivekanandaJ' organised by Auxiliary Service for Human Affairs (ASHA), Manipur, under the sponsorship of Ministry of Culture was held on Friday at Shree Shree Gourgobind Girls' College, Khurai in Imphal East district.

The seminar was inaugurated with College princi pal Dr Konsam Jaboshakhi Devi as chief guest, ASHA president Tekcham Memcha Devi as guest of honour and Eastern Popular Club, Khurai Sajor Leikai president Salam Birendra Singh as functional president.

During the technical session, Shree Shree Gourgobind Girls' College Department of English head assistant professor Dr M Sumati Devi and Department of Zoology assistant professor Dr Th Ajita Devi, All India Radio, Imphal former Joint director BB Sharma and Vivekananda Awardee (Kolkata) MCS (Retd) Thokchom Shiba Dutta Singh, presented papers on life, work and contribution of Swami Vivekananda in social reformation and uplift of the society.
