CRPF repairs community hall, distributes aids

Imphal, January 08 2025:
69 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Mantripukhri under the aegis of CRPF M&N Sector IG, repaired and renovated multipurpose community hall at Tangkhul Avenue on Wednesday under its civic action programme.
The event was attended by commandant SA Rojan Zimik in the presence of second-in-command Harjilal Bairwa, deputy commandant Yogendra Kumar Mishra, local authority chairman, local leaders, women folk and children, a release by 69 Bn CRPF said.
On the other hand, 86 Bn CRPF under the aegis of IG Manipur & Nagaland Sector distributed water storage tanks to the villagers of K Lhangnom village in Kangpokpi district on Wednesday under its civic action programme.
The programme was held with 86 Bn commandant Saurabh Kumar Choudhary as chief guest, who also held a meeting with the youths/villagers of the villages in context of the programme.
Meanwhile, under its civic action programme, 30 Battalion CRPF, S Saheibung distributed water storage tanks, woollen blankets, rechargeable solar LED lights and rechargeable LED torchlights to the people of Tinkhaikhulen village, Kangpokpi district on Wednesday, a separate release by 30 Bn CRPF said.
The programme was inaugurated by Tinkhaikhulen village chief Nehkholam Haokip in the presence of second in-command Mahendra Singh and Jeetender Kumar, assistant commandant Sunil Kumar Tomar and medical officer Dr Neeraj Kumar, Haibung village chief Hemin, L Jangnomphai village chief and Kuki Inpi vice president Nehminlen Haokip.
Similarly, 152 Bn CRPF distributed mosquito nets, badminton rackets, shuttlecocks, and badminton shoes at Khongnangpokpi on Wednesday along with distributing 34 water storage tanks at Tairenpokpi on Tuesday, under its civic action programme.
152 Bn commandant Love Kumar attended both the programmes as chief guest along with other personnel of the Unit, respective village chiefs and villagers.
