UKLF recovers WY tablets worth ₹35.5 lakh

UKLF Anti-Drugs Task Force rounded up a peddlers and recovered WY tablet drugs found wrapped in 10 packets numbering about 1 lakh pieces worth Rs 35.5 approximately.
The recovered drugs was set on fire the same day of recovery at the UKLF (Kuki Army) office in the presence of media persons to showcase its revulsion on peddling of drugs to the public.
According to UKLF Anti-Drugs Task Force, Dingpi Battalion, stern measures have been initiated by it after the UPF and KNO in a joint meeting agreed to combat illicit drug trafficking on July 17 .
The Task Force further made an appeal to all not to indulge in peddling of drugs like WY, heroin, opium and other assortment and instead engage themselves in other constructive business activities.
