Bishnupur, Jiribam deploy 'flying squads' for safe farming

Imphal, July 07 2025: In view of the prevailing law and order situation, district administrations of Bishnupur and Jiribam have deployed flying squad teams in fringe areas to ensure safe farming activities and prevent any untoward incidents during the crop planting season.

In separate releases, Bishnupur DC Pooja Elangbam and Jiribam DC Krishna Kumar informed that the flying squads will improve coordination and ensure timely intervention to facilitate peaceful cultivation in the fringe areas.

The deputed officers shall liaise and co-ordinate with the police officers and central armed police forces (CAPF) concerned of their respective jurisdiction and submit weekly reports.
