Sainik School cadets witness POP at NDA Khadakwasla

A contingent of 37 cadets and two staff members from Sainik School, Imphal witnessed the Passing-Out Parade (POP) of the 146th course at the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, on Friday.
Mizoram Governor Gen VK Singh (Retd) was the chief guest for the event.
In a statement, Sainik School, Imphal informed that the Passing-Out Parade of the NDA is one of the most iconic and ceremonious military events, reflecting the valour, discipline and dedication of cadets completing three years of rigorous training.
For the visiting cadets of Sainik School Imphal, the experience served as an inspiration and reaffirmed their own aspiration to join the Armed Forces.

During the visit, the cadets interacted with NDA officers and alumni of Sainik School, Imphal who are currently undergoing training at the academy, it said, adding that these interactions offered valuable insights into the life, challenges and commitment required to succeed in the defence services.
The school had undertaken tremendous efforts to secure a slot for its cadets to witness this much acclaimed and sought after patade, the statement added.
