Chanakya IAS Academy opened in Imphal

Chanakya IAS Academy, the Delhi-based coaching institute, known for producing number of IAS, IFS and IPS officers under the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), has opened its coaching centre at South Babupara, here on Sunday.
During a press meet held at its newly opened Centre, Academy founder chairman AK Mishra said that a free seminar will be held at from 11.30 am Monday on tips and tricks to crack the UPSC exam.
Informing that the centre will commence its first batch from May 10 onwards, he stated that since establishment in 1993, the Academy, having more than 25 centres in 15 states, has produced over 5000 civil servants.
Stating that Chanakya IAS Academy is preferred by the people of Northeast India, he mentioned that one of their students Rk Dinesh Singh from Manipur had secured 10th position in the 1999/2000 batch while incumbent Imphal East deputy commissioner Khumanthem Diana was one of the students as well.
Maintaining that the facilities at the Imphal centre will be at par with that of Delhi, AK Mishra continued that the academy will also provide library facilities as well as accommodation and scholarships to aspirants from Northeast Indian states.
Academy's Imphal Centre director Ranjit Angom extended gratitude to AK Mishra and his team, stating the fee structure will be the same as that of Delhi but scholarship of 50 per cent, 75 per cent and 100 per cent will be provided to deserving students.
Aspirants who complete the course successfully will be able to crack the Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) exam with ease, he expressed.
Assuring that special scholarship will be provided to internally displaced students, the director also called upon interested individuals to contact 6909907134 or visit the centre at Babupara for relevant information.
