RPF claims attacks on SFs in Kamjong villages

Imphal, November 15 2024:
The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) claimed that cadres of its military wing, People's Liberation Army (PLA), attacked Indian security forces at Yangoupok and Maringthen villages in Kamjong district on Friday morning.
According to an RPF statement, the attack carried out at about 10 am Friday inflicted casualties on the side of the 'enemy', while there was no casualty among the PLA cadres.
Later, the second encounter of the day occurred at about 4.30 pm when Para commandos of Indian security force moved towards the area where PLA cadres were staying.
However, PLA cadres fought bravely and repulsed the enemy, claimed the statement.
While informing that all the PLA fighters have returned back safely to their bases, the RPF statement issued by assistant publicity secretary Bangkim said the party will continue to fight till regaining of the lost sovereignty of Manipur and appealed to people to support the liberation movement till achieving its goal.
