Lions Club conducts free health camp

Imphal, May 09 2022: Lions Club of Imphal Excellence organised two-day free health camp at Skipe and Kangpat Khunou villages in Kamjong district on Sunday and Monday respectively.

The first day of the health camp at Skipe village continued till around 6 pm and the team tended to about 116 patients, majority of whom were from Myanmar.

The team also handed out free medicines and services including ultrasound facilities, blood sugar test and Cervical Cancer (Pap smear) screening test.

It was in fact the first International free health camp offered by Lions Club of Imphal Excellence.

The second day of the health camp Started around 9 pm at the church building of Kangpat Khunou.

The team offered free health services and medicines to about 287 villagers.

Later, the village chief and chairperson of the health camp Dr Phungreikan felicitated the team.

Club member Rakeshbanta Konjengbam also offered reading materials to the village chief and pastor for the children of the village.
