Imphal, April 29 2025: LMS Law College, Imphal, and School of Legal Studies, DMU organised two-day national seminar cum workshop on 'Decoding the three new laws: BNS, BNSS & BSA of 2023' at LMS Law College, Chingmeirong from Tuesday.

The inaugural programme was attended by Dhanamanjuri University (DMU) vice chancellor Prof W Chand-babu Singh, Manipur University Department of Anthropology Prof MC Arun, University of Delhi Faculty of Law & Academic Affairs dean Prof K Ratnabali and LMS Law College principal Dr Rk Premila Devi as chief guest, guests of honour and president respectively.

Speaking at the programme, Prof W Chandbabu noted that the college has been producing law students in the state since 1958.Similar to changing landscape in education, legal studies is also changing.

As such, legal studies should also change in tune with the changing times.

Stressing the importance of legal studies in the society, he appealed to the law students to take the opportunities of the legal awareness programme and strive to become successful legal practitioners.
