Four new cases take state's Covid tally to 302

Imphal, July 07 2025:
Four out of 19 samples tested in the last 24 hours returned positive for Covid-19, marking a daily positivity rate of 21.1 per cent, according to the latest status report issued by the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) on Monday.
With this, the cumulative number of positive cases reported in the state in the current wave has risen to 302, with Imphal West district accounting for the highest number of cases, followed by Imphal East and Bishnupur districts.
The number of active eases has now dropped to 47, most of whom are under home isolation.
Altogether, 255 individuals have recovered and discharged, with the recovery count continuing to surpass the active caseload.
No COVID-19 related deaths have been reported in the state so far.
