Stranded trucks start moving

Manipur-bound trucks stranded along the NH-102 in Zubza area of Nagaland for the past few days due to landslide have started moving from Tuesday after mud, stones and debris were cleared under the joint initiatives of Manipur Drivers' Association, Senapati District Truck Owners' Association and Senapati District Truck Drivers' Union of Manipur and various associations of Nagaland state.
Trucks bound for Manipur and other areas of Nagaland remained stranded in Zubza area for over eight days due to a massive landslide.
However, truck and transporters' associations of Manipur and Nagaland jointly arranged heavy machines to clear the landslide debris subsequently paving the way for resumption of vehicular movement.
