Imphal, January 08 2025: Japhou Ngiiriiti Shungkhur Lhungna Ruh (JNSLR) organised a book release programme for 'Japhou Ngiiriiti Family Lineage & Statistics Survey 2024' during the Japhou Ngiiriiti get-together prayer service at Chiifuwr Veem, Japhou village, Chandel on Wednesday.

In a release, JNSLR president NG Joykumar informed that the book was released by social activist and Sirti Upa Ruh/Mon-sang Tribe Union (SUR) advisor Ng Gilbert with Japhou Baptist Church pastor reverend K Kumar leading the blessing prayer for Japhou Ngiiriiti families.

The book is edited by Japhou Ngiiriiti History Committee headed by Ng.

Benithan as convener and Ng Kennedy as secretary along with five other members.

The book mainly contains the genealogy of Japhou Ngiiriiti Shungkhur (clan), family branches and the present Ngiiriiti households presently settling at Japhou village, Chandel.

The book is also all about the social and religious status of Japhou Ngiiriiti elders and leaders since the establishment of Japhou village in 1927.The event was also attended by Chandel ADC ex-member Sh Manglem Monsang, SUR president Ng Benithan, MNBCA executive secretary reverend Alani Shongsir, Monsang church pastors/catechists, village chiefs, Monsang elders and Japhou village clan presidents.
