Aid provided to differently abled, UFO

Imphal, June 28 2024:
Continuing its humanitarian service, Kshetrimayum Yaima Memorial Trust (KYMT) donated Rs 10,000 and edibles to the family of a differently abled person, named, Sagolsem Abungo of Andro Makha Leikai.
The financial assistance and edibles were handed over to the family by a team of KYMT consisting of its president Dr Kshetrimaum Subadani, vice president H Sumati and secretary Rakesh Naorem.
Meanwhile, Meira Paibis of Khoirom and Yairipok Bishnunaha under Thoubal district donated rice, pulses and other essentials items for village volunteers guarding Itham Moirangpurel in Imphal East district.
While conveying gratitude to the Meira Paibis for their act of benevolence, a statement issued by central committee of Universal Friendship Organisation (UFO) said Kuki narco-terrorists have been frequently targeting Itham Moirangpurel, which falls under Nongpok Pana Tengol Lakpa unit of the organisation, but its Meetei Lalloi volunteers continue to defend the area for over one year.
As such, it thanked the Meira Paibis of Khoirom and Yairipok Bishnunaha for donating food items and encouraging the village volunteers.
