Imphal, May 05 2010: Chief Minister O Ibobi will take a flight to New Delhi in a special flight provided by the Union ministry of home affairs tomorrow morning to discuss and bring a settlement on the conflicting situation in the state arising out of proposed visit of rebel leader Th Muivah in the state and hold public meetings apart from attending a prayer ceremony in his native village-Somdal of Ukhrul district.

In the meantime, Cabinet meeting convened by the Chief Minister for two times today in the Cabinet room of the Chief Minister's secretariat has once again reaffirmed the decision of state not to allow entry of the rebel leader in any cost, official source said.

Chief Minister, O Ibobi will hold meeting with the Home Minister in the presence of Prime Minister, Dr Manmohon Singh as P Chidambaram reportedly promised him and he could be back after the meeting tomorrow itself the special flight provided for him by the ministry.

Other Union ministers are also likely to attend the meeting.

Chidambaram also reported assured Ibobi that Muivah will be remained at the place where he is camping presently until he fly back and reached the state capital, the highly place reliable source disclosed.

The Chief Minister who does not want to leave the state capital in the prevailing tense situation reportedly agreed to proceed to New Delhi on the assurance given by the home minister.

The ATR-aircraft to be broad by the Ibobi, reportedly landing at Guwahati right now, will leave Imphal at 7 am tomorrow and scheduled to back from New Delhi at noon.

It was reportedly informed that ground landing clearance has been sought from the Imphal Airport Authority this late evening.

Mention may be made that O Ibobi was called by the Union Home Minister, P Chidambaram to come to the national capital to discuss on the matter of preventing Muivah's visit to state for many time in the last few days since government took the decision not to allow the entry rebel leader in the state on the pretext of large scale violence that may erupt in the state.

However, he refused to leave state citing the prevailing fragile situation of the state developing both in the hills and valley areas.

He reportedly agreed when Home minister took the help of Union minister, Pranab Mukherjee to convince him and ensure arrival at the National Capital without fail.

Another highly reliable source close to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs said that the ministry has a firm decision to allow entry of Muivah in Manipur citing that he is a citizen of the country.

There is no reason of banning him in entering Manipur, a state of the Indian union apart from his birth place.

Considering all this factor, analysis recalled the incident of calling the then maharaja of Manipur, Bhudhachandra to Shillong and signed the merger agreement.

The security forces detailing at border to block Muivah from entering the state may turn out to be for escorting and welcoming home, they observed.

Whether, Ibobi will abide by the advice of the home minister to allow entry of Muivah or surrender his post of Chief Minister, if he is under hard pressure will be early to say out.

However, the source said that Chief Minister will brief the prevailing fragile law and order situation in the state arising out of proposed visit of the rebel leaders and developing tense situation when Muivah was also reportedly committed to translate into action to his itinerary.

In the meantime, Cabinet meeting convened by the Chief Minister has reportedly reaffirmed government stand on the banning of Muivah from entering to the soil of the state.

Cabinet ministers have the confidence that Chief Minister will remain firm on the decision taken by the Cabinet as he alone could not altered the decision once taken by the Cabinet.
