Imphal, December 26 2024: A three-day skill development training programme on 'Value Addition and Procession for Income Generation' organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Imphal East in collaboration with the Directorate & Extension Education of Central Agricultural University (CAU) and School Management Committee of Lairikyengbam Leikai High School, concluded at the school campus on Tuesday.

The valedictory function was attended by KVK, Imphal East senior scientist and head Dr Yumnam Prabhabati Devi as president and ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre principal scientist Dr Chanamthabam Basudha Devi as chief guest while Thangjam Agro Industries Pvt Ltd managing director Thangjam Joykumar Singh, Lairikyengbam Leikai High School headmistress N Saroja Devi, and KVK, Imphal East senior scientist (home science) S Monibala were guests of honour.

In all, 50 trainees including teachers and students participated in the programme.
