MAYOL holds mass awareness campaigns

Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) on Sunday organised public meetings at various locations in continuation of its Poster and Mass Awareness Campaign launched on March 24 .
A release issued by MAYOL publicity secretary Mayengbam Premananda informed that poster campaigns and leaders' meets were conducted at Sagolband Tera, Sangaiprou, Changangei, Malom Bazar and Nambol Bazar, Sawombung Kabui Khunjao, Lamlong Keithel, Social Standard Club ground (Khurai Salanthong), Sun Club, Mongsangei Mayai Leikai, Awang Sekmai Koujeng Leima community hall, Khumbong multipurpose community hall, etc.
The meetings conducted in collaboration local youth clubs, meira paibi groups and village chiefs had IPAK president Ksh Somarendro, PANDM general secretary Brojen Meitei, Kabui Union Manipur president Hera Kabui, DESAM former president Nameirakpam Edison, LIPUL advisor Puyam Joy, Missing Committee president RK Bidyaluxmi, AMYPCO vice president Asheiba Luwang and advocate Thokchom Suresh addressing the gathering comprising women vigilantes and locals as the resource persons.
MAYOL president Ashem Prince, general secretary Laisham James, secretary (organisation) Tongbram Naradaya, assistant publicity secretary Konjengbam Samananda, and advisor Moirangthem Laksman elaborated that the campaign has been initiated to encourage the electors contribute their mite in cleansing the ills afflicting electoral politics in Manipur.
As a part of the campaign, League volunteers also distributed leaflets advocating proper and ethical conduct of election.
