Locals demand early completion of Imphal Ring road

Imphal, January 11 2025: Residents of Kyamgei Mayai Leikai have expressed their support for the ongoing Imphal Ring road construction work being taken up by the state government with funding from Asian Development Bank.

According to Moirangjam Gunindro Meitei of Kyamgei Mayai Leikai, demarcation of land for Imphal Ring road from Kyamgei Pal Ahanbi to Waikhom Kongnang was already done by officials of Revenue and Settlement Department after proper survey.

"None of the residents of Kyamgei Mayai Leikai oppose the ongoing road widening work from Kyamgei Pal Ahanbi to Waikhom Kongnang as part of Imphal Ring road," he clarified and appealed to the authority concerned to complete the road work before the coming of rainy season.
