KIM condoles demise of TS Haokip

Imphal, November 14 2023: Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) has expressed profound grief at the sad and untimely demise of Kuki National Organisation (KNO) defence secretary TS Haokip, who passed away on Monday at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi.

In a condolence message, KIM general secretary Khaikhohauh Gangte conveyed that endowed with mellowed wisdom, a towering personality, diversified experience and talent, TS Haokip was an avid reader, prolific writer, composer and a renowned singer, epthralling/mesmerising the youths with his heart-wrenching melodious voice and nationalistic vibes.

"A man of great vision with an indomitable spirit in championing the cause of his people, TS Haokip devoted his life with deep commitment in serving his people so as to unshackle them from the quagmire of institutional injustice by the majoritarian politics" .

"Down-to-earth TS Haokip will be greatly remembered and admired by his people in general, and the civil society groups in particular, who turned to him for his sagacious advice on various matters.

His untimely demise has left a deep void which would be hard to fill.

With his passing, Kuki people had lost a great leader," it said, adding, 'The life and work of TS Haokip will remain a source of inspiration for generations to come." "As we convey our deepest condolences, may our Lord GOD give strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss," it conveyed.
