Imphal, January 08 2025: Viksit Bharat Essay Challenge Manipur State Team which will participate in the National Youth Festival 2025, from January 10 to 12 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi under the Viksit Bharat Youth Leader Dialogue Challenge, was flagged off by Manipur University vice chancellor professor N Lokendra Singh at Imphal Airport on Wednesday.

In a release, MU NSS Cell programme coordinator Dr Laishram Santosh Singh informed that professor N Lokendra extended his best wishes to all the participants and encouraged them to strive for excellence and success at the National Youth Festival.

A total of 16 participants will be representing the state, with 14 students presenting essays on various themes and tracks.

The team will be led by MU Department of Biochemistry's Dr S Sunil Singh and Department of Anthropology's Dr H Suraj Singh.
