Imphal, August 09 2023:
While condemning convening of the state assembly on August 21 while the parliamentary session is going to adjourn on August 12, Yuva Janata Dal (United) Manipur State Unit has asserted that the state must have their own say in the crisis rather than waiting for the decisions of the parliament with tails between the legs.
In a release, Yuva JD(U) Manipur State Unit president Bhaktaraj Thiyam pointed out that the crisis has crossed a three months and neither the state nor the central government has taken any trustful measure as a solution to the crisis.
"Will the PM wake up periodically each time the chaos of Manipur level up then spit some senseless words with no actions whatsoever and sleep again", he posed, while stating that it has been 15 days since CM N Biren's remarkable speech that not an inch of the land of Manipur will be sacrificed.
Yet not one impactful measure for the betterment of the state has been taken, he contended.
CM N Biren Singh, PM Modi and HM Amit Shah must acknowledge that the Manipur is not a theatre for their petty dramas.
They must stop all these dirty selfish politics before all hell broke loose, it cautioned.
Recalling that a close-door meeting of JDU Manipur State Unit with CM Nitish Kumar and JDU national general secretary Afaque Ahmad Khan chronologically studied the current crisis in Manipur and condemned the peak of the ignorance of the centre government, he ridiculed that while PM Modi was receiving awards from other countries the citizens of India are drown in their own tears in each and every comer of the nation.
